Well we still have Suzy -- that's the cat that lives with us. Note I did not say "our cat Suzy" because nobody "owns" a cat.
Other than that, what's new? We still love each other. That's good. Grandkid total remains at eleven. Two little girls from our son Steve & Jenny: Elektra & Teagan, will be 4 & 7 in February. A total of nine from "The Mom" Cindy & Israel: Noah, Maggie, SarEl, Yonah, Tal, Faith Song, Boaz, Derek & Jewel Grace, ranging in age from 18 to 3.
Well The Donald is now president-elect and I can only cite the governmentese phrase that applies to this situation: "Well, it will be interesting." (Translated into English, that means "I don't know what the hell is going to happen!")
Something to do: Ask yourself what are the three things that you have excelled at in your life? For me. It's ping pong, writing & cooking. And you?
Attention: Sales plug! If you have yet to get a copy of my recently published book, "My Daughter Said She'd Burn This Book!" by L. David Mark (my nom de plume), here's your chance. Simply go to Amazon.com and type in the title in the blank provided. A lot of you, as friends, relatives and former co-workers, are mentioned by name in various chapters.
Finally, here are a few vagrant thoughts that might amuse you (or tickle your thought process):
"Don't eat more than your stomach can hold (unless it's really, really good)."
"Ponder the imponderable: What do cats have instead of a conscience?"
"Pregnancy is merely an uncomfortable bump with a favorable outcome."
Though we're a bit longer in the tooth (isn't everyone?), as usual we wish you and yours a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!
